We have recently become members of two more organizations. One is SME, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the other is NHMA, the New Hampshire Machining Association. SME promotes an increased awareness of manufacturing engineering and keeps manufacturing professionals up to date on leading trends and technologies.^* And NHMA is a group of manufacturers and educators who act as a motivating force for the machining profession in the state. It addresses the growing concern about the future of the manufacturing industry and builds communication between the industry and the educators, students, and parents at both secondary and post-secondary education levels.^**We look forward to becoming an active member of each organization.
